Under this heading I publish my fanfics for ITV’s lovely Jane Austen adaption Sanditon. So far a few one-shots and one multi-chapter story, which is ongoing and I publish the chapters as I write them.
Sanditon revisited
This story will pretty much stick to the plot of the series (I have not read the unfinished novel), focus on Charlotte and Sidney and expand on their thoughts and feelings (because I cannot get enough of them) and continue where the series ended. I started this fanfic because I was in love with Charlotte and Sidney, but will continue also because I hate the ending they got in the series and there so far is no news about a season 2. I can promise for sure this story will end differently not matter if there is a continuation on screen or not.
Disclaimer: I have borrowed dialogue from the ITV series and of course the characters are Jane Austen’s. I own neither and have absolutely no intention of making money from it. This is for my amusement only and perhaps someone else’s if you care to read.
Chapter 1: Bluntness on a balcony
Chapter 2: An unaccomplished young lady
Chapter 3: She does not care to be plucked
Chapter 4: So this is what a man looks like
Chapter 5: Is it conceivable I had her wrong
Chapter 6: How to know if to trust one’s first impression, or second
Chapter 7: I did not know women could play cricket
Chapter 10: It is an affliction
Chapter 11: What are my sentiments, exactly?
Chapter 12: In the spirit of forgiveness
Chapter 13: Not the same man, not the same river
Chapter 14: What is it that you want from me?
Chapter 15: With you I am my best self
Chapter 16: A cliff-top walk is much more to my taste
Chapter 18: The end of naivety
Chapter 19: An unexpected encounter
Chapter 21: The art of pretending
A chance encounter and a drink game made the evening end in a way neither of them had anticipated, but will assumptions prevent Sidney and Charlotte from taking things one step further? And what is it that they want from each other?
This is pretty hot (though not full-blown smut) one-shot modern AU story written for The Sanditon Creative’s 12 Days of Sanditon challenge, prompt ‘Games’. I started thinking of the plot for the prompt ‘Fire’, so there is much of that too. The kind of fire that stems from attraction and anger rather than logs.
Snow is not the only thing that happens in Willingden
HEA story proving Sidney wrong when he said nothing ever happens in Willingden.
One-shot for the Sanditon Creative’s ‘12 days of Sanditon challenge’, prompt ‘Snow’, taking place the winter after Charlotte and Sidney said farewell to each other on the Sanditon clifftops.
